Torrential rains have caused flooding in the provinces of Bahlan, Tachar and Badakhshan in northern Afghanistan. As a result, more than 300 people have died. According to the Taliban authorities, many people are still missing and the death toll is likely to rise further. Many houses were also damaged or destroyed.

Most people in these rural regions are dependent on agriculture. They are now deprived of this foundation. You urgently need help. After the renewed Taliban takeover in 2021, many aid organizations withdrew from the country. As a result, much less help arrives than is needed.

Our team in Faizabad (Badakhshan) is already in the process of carrying out investigations where help is most needed. Specific steps can then be initiated.

Please help us to help these people.
